Grab your bags and tell all your friends, we're leaving this place! Aren't you sick of how stale the colors around us have become ? The streets are shattered and the buildings are slouching. The clouds can't help but cry and that brings me down further and further until the sunlight can't reach me. Lets go to that city, that's where i want to be. Take me to that city, that's where i feel free. Do you hear that noise ? its the sound of people laughing. Surrounded by smiles, my body feels the warmth. Take a breath and let the cool breeze caress your lungs, its as if we're never alive. This might sound too crazy, but i love this city !

I saw her walking down the street, it was 3 am and i could not sleep. I know i sound like a creep, but i ran outside so we could meet. "Hi, I think i've seen you around," I stuttered my words and looked down at the ground. I could see myself in her big green eyes shaking because my gut is full of butterflies trying to lift up in the sky, this is what she does to me. If she knew how much she means to me. I just had to tell her she is driving me crazy.

 She always looked up to the sky, as if her brass ring would just fly down and land right in her hands. But we know that's not how dreams come true, you gotta fight hard and shine right through. Now she's trying to figure out how to turn all that hate and doubt into something that is positive so she can focus on living out her dreams, she just wants to live out her dreams. Keep your head up high. Don't drown in the sea called life. I know it's not easy, but don't let your chance pass by. Goodbye. I could see her whole world caving in, do you see it in her eyes ? Glowing like a beautiful sunrise deep in her eyes. Don't drown in the sea called life. Shes still looking at the sky, nows she asking herself why her life is so difficult while her friends are all having a good time, she just wants to have a good time. One day she'll learn to fly, the sad little girl of mine will grab that brass ring up in the sky, her time will come and she will love her life, she will love everything in her life.

You can keep your desk job because i've got another plan. I got this guitar and these two hands. I'm gonna hit the road on hopes and fears, hopefully my songs will catch some ears. All i need is my guitar. This guitar found me when i was a little boy, I never took my eyes off it, it brought me so much joy. Still years later, she has never left me... all I need is my guitar. And I'll live in the studio for the rest of my life, my pad is filled with ideas, its such a wonderful sight !

 When they spoke, my eyes lit up like fire. They can't be serious? My fist clinched up like a rock as they continued to talk. My folks always said i wasn't bound to the color of my skin, so why do people always judge me. Talking about my hair or they way I dress like there's gotta be a reason. How can I express myself when all you do is oppress. This is me being me, nothing more nothing less. Just embrace yourself, because we're all beautiful. Why do you bash what you don't understand, I'm just being myself. Take a look in the mirror and for once push yourself to create and inspire, that's what i want from you. Create and Inspire.
